Dublin City Council is the largest local authority in Republic of Ireland and provides a significant number of services to its customers. Tony has worked in Dublin City Council for over 30 years and held a number of senior management positions in Housing &Community Services, Engineering, Culture Recreation & Amenities. Area Manager Dublin South Central & South East areas, Tony is Executive Manager responsible for Housing & Community services including the provision of  public housing in Dublin City Council  and the implementation of the councils housing programme which includes  Construction of new  social housing , Acquisitions & “Turn Key” programme, Regeneration of existing public housing schemes,  Public Private Partnerships,  development of Councils Housing land bank, Provision of Traveller Accommodation, Part V, Approved Housing Bodies, Loans & Mortgage  arrears ,Tenant Purchase Sales and Grants, Community and Social Development, Environmental Health & Private Housing standards, Rapid Build & Volumetric Housing Programme. The City Council estimated that up to €1bn of funding is required to implement its public housing programme over the next 5 years for the provision of 19,000 new lettings, this sum does not include funding for mix use developments planned for a number of its development sites.
